Premium Short Comic Book Storage Boxes with Lid — 3-Pack (Short Boxes)
Product description
Capacity and design: These are short-format comic storage boxes with lids and integrated oval hand-holes. Each box is designed to accommodate roughly 150–175 current or silver-age comic books when packed upright.
Materials and construction: The boxes are manufactured from thick, white corrugated paperboard built from acid-free materials to help protect paper collectibles over time. The rigid board offers strong side walls and a supportive base so packed boxes remain stable and liftable.
Dimensions: Internal dimensions measure approximately 15.56" x 7.62" x 11". External dimensions are about 15.81" x 8" x 11.37", allowing you to plan shelving or cabinet space. The short profile makes them simpler to move than full-length comic boxes while still holding a substantial count.
What you receive and how to use them: This set includes three short boxes and three matching lids. They collapse flat for storage and ship folded; assembly is accomplished by folding along the pre-creased panels. Fast-fold instructions are printed on the bottom of each unit to guide setup. Once assembled, use the lids to protect the tops of your stack and the oval hand-holes to transport filled boxes. These are commonly referred to as short comic boxes, short comic storage boxes, or comic bins.
Pros
- Thick, acid-free corrugated board
- Holds ~150–175 comics per box
- Collapsible with printed fold guides
Cons
- Bottom flaps may need trimming at perforations
- Oval hand-holes can be left unpunched to preserve strength
- May be slightly shorter than some competitors
VerdictWell-constructed short comic storage boxes that balance durability and convenience. The heavy corrugated, acid-free board protects collections while the fold-flat design and pre-scored creases make setup quick without tools. Each box fits roughly 150–175 current or silver-age comics and includes a lid and hand-holes for carrying. Good for collectors who want sturdy, stackable bins that keep comics

Replaced old boxes, very happy
Replaced worn boxes after many moves. These are solid, move easily, and feel built to last. Very pleased.

Solid, easy to fold, very durable
Very sturdy boxes that fold together without tape. One minor issue: the bottom perforations were only partial and needed a cutter to separate. I left the hand-holes unpushed and added cardboard inserts for extra support. Even fully loaded (≈100–150 comics) they lift without flexing. Second set I’ve bought — very satisfied.

Visual instructions only — not ideal for first-timers
Product is fine but assembly guidance is solely pictorial. I ordered three and one was damaged during setup because I couldn’t follow the visuals alone.

A touch shorter than some other short boxes, but very robust and stacks without issue. I’ll buy again.

Folds quickly and feels stronger than older short boxes
Assembly is straightforward—just fold along the scored lines, no tools required. I prefer these short boxes to long ones because the board feels thicker and they’re easier to carry. Stackable, but avoid placing two full boxes atop a half-filled one. Note: they need about an extra 1/2" depth compared to some shelving units.
