MADE FROM THICKENED SILICONE — BUILT FOR DURABILITY: The draft stopper is manufactured from pure silicone that tolerates both low and high temperatures and remains flexible without taking a permanent set. The material won’t scuff flooring and is soft enough to allow normal door movement even when floors aren’t perfectly level. Its smooth finish is unobtrusive and works with most decor.

WHAT YOU GET & DIMENSIONS: The package includes the silicone door sweep with a pre-applied adhesive backing ready for installation. The strip measures approximately 1.96 inches wide and 78 inches long, and is designed to seal openings from 0 up to about 1.2 inches. It can be trimmed to the correct length; measure carefully before cutting to avoid waste.

HOLLOW ARC CAVITY FOR SOUND & LIGHT CONTROL: The seal features a triple hollow arc cavity profile that blocks drafts, reduces incoming light and helps dampen household and street noise. This structure also provides an extra barrier against small insects and similar intruders that might enter through the bottom gap.

WATERPROOF WIDENED ADHESIVE BACKING: A 1.5-inch wide waterproof adhesive strip (with a narrow groove) is bonded to the silicone so the sweep adheres smoothly to the door bottom. The broader adhesive resists lifting caused by ground friction. In cases where additional security is desired, tape, tacks, or small fasteners can be used as a backup.

EASY INSTALLATION & ADJUSTABLE FIT: Install by cleaning the door edge, peeling the liner, aligning and pressing firmly. The product can be cut down to match shorter doors and slight vertical adjustments help seal uneven gaps. Tips: in cold weather warm the adhesive briefly with a hairdryer before application; avoid very rough or heavily textured surfaces; press several times and allow 24 hours for the bond to set fully.

    Very effective for an apartment

    Sturdy hold with proper prep

    Installed on attic access doors that were leaking heat; the room felt more comfortable afterward. The sweep seals tightly and the adhesive stayed put with regular use. Cleaning with alcohol beforehand greatly improved bonding. Quick to fit and reasonably durable.

    Quick install, looks neat

    Did a great job where there was about an inch gap in my condo door. Peel-and-stick was simple and it includes cleaning pads to help adhesion, though I didn’t use them. Only con: feels a bit thin and you get just one piece, but it works fine for my needs.
