Tru Earth Unscented Laundry Detergent Sheets — Compact Eco Strips (768 Loads)
Product description
Compact, concentrated sheets: Tru Earth unscented laundry strips are thin, pre-measured sheets produced in Canada and sold in bulk counts that total up to 768 loads. Each strip weighs about 3 grams, so the whole kit packs a lot of cleaning capacity into a very small volume.
Skin-friendly formulation: The strips are made without animal-derived ingredients and avoid parabens, formulated to be mild for sensitive skin. They are designed to dissolve fully in the wash and leave minimal to no residue on fabrics when used as directed.
Plastic-free packaging: Instead of a bulky plastic jug, the strips come in lightweight cardboard packaging that reduces shipping weight and storage footprint. The compact format is easier for people with limited space or reduced hand strength to manage compared with heavy detergent bottles.
Simple dosing: Each strip is a single, pre-measured dose — one strip per normal load — so there’s no measuring cup, no spills, and simplified laundry routines. For very dirty or larger loads some users choose to add an additional half or full strip.
Versatile uses: Because the sheets are small and light, they’re convenient for students, travelers, van and RV owners, and laundromat users. They work in standard and high-efficiency machines and are a low-clutter option for households that prefer fewer liquid or powder products.
Pros
- Space-saving, lightweight strips
- Plastic-free cardboard packaging
- Vegan, paraben-free and gentle on sensitive skin
Cons
- May need an extra strip for very soiled loads
- Unscented option may not suit those who want fragrance
- Concentration and dosing feel unfamiliar at first
VerdictTru Earth detergent strips are a convenient, low-waste alternative to liquid and powder detergents. They pack a lot of cleaning power into a tiny, 3g strip that dissolves cleanly and is gentle enough for sensitive skin. The cardboard packaging and absence of plastic reduce storage bulk and household waste. For routine loads they perform well; heavily soiled items may still benefit from pretreatmen

Brighter whites, softer fabrics
Really impressed. Switched from multi-product washes and now get cleaner, brighter clothes and softer fabrics using just these strips. They handled kids’ sports clothes better than I expected.

Works and is eco-friendly
Cleans effectively; garments come out fresh. The cardboard box is easy to handle and the sheets pull out smoothly. Feels good to launder without extra plastic waste.

Gentle and effective
I have sensitive skin and this hasn’t caused any problems. It cleans well — even handling sickbed laundry — dissolves completely with no residue, and takes up very little room. Clothes feel fresh and it’s a greener choice, which I appreciate.

Handy for dorm life
As a college student these were super convenient and lasted a long time. I sometimes used one and a half strips rather than one. Not the cheapest out there, but the freshness and convenience made it worthwhile for me.

Great for travel and storage
I’ve used these for years. The strips are incredibly compact for storage and trips, removing the need for bulky bottles. They work well in both standard and HE machines, leave clothes soft, and the light scent (for scented versions) is pleasant and not overpowering.

Most convenient option we've tried
We’ve used these sheets for a long time now. Regular detergent is mostly water and leaves you with lots of empty bottles to toss. At first I was doubtful, but a half sheet or one full sheet does the job for most loads. For dirtier work clothes we’ll use the whole strip. We tried other brands before—both caused skin reactions—so Tru Earth has been our go-to without irritation.

Doesn't meet expectations for stubborn stains
The sheets smell nice out of the package, but I found they didn’t remove daily perspiration marks or other light stains — clothing came out smelling a bit musty and with the same spots. I expected better performance for everyday marks without pre-treating.

Good wash quality with thoughtful packaging
I finished my first box and will buy another. Cleans well without residue and doesn’t weigh garments down. I like that they skip added fragrance to lower environmental impact; the cardboard box is appreciated.

Simple to use
Super easy to use. Unscented, so you can add your own essential oils if you like. I really like this product.

Useful but not perfect
Good concept and reduces plastic—package is recyclable cardboard. I use them in a top-loader and always place strips where the water flows; they dissolve fine. For lightly soiled items they’re great, but I usually use two strips for dirtier clothes like toddler playwear.
