   Perfect when you need more than a simple coffee table

   I replaced an old cracked table and needed something multifunctional. Assembly was straightforward with a helper—about 90 minutes. It works as a coffee table, a desk for typing or eating, and is large enough to seat four for games or snacks.

   Arrived damaged; required repairs to be stable

   The unit showed up with several issues: two preinstalled hinges were stripped and a screw was missing. Even assembled, it needed stronger screws and adhesive to be stable. The drawers and hinges were imperfect and required modification to be usable.

   Assembled in a couple of hours without power tools and it looks nice. My only reservation is how it will handle daily wear, occasional spills and cleaning over time. For the price it’s a solid option even if it’s a stopgap.

    Transformed my home office space

    I wanted a coffee table that could double as a workstation and this fit the bill. The finish matches my other pieces and the interior storage is very handy. The three cubbies underneath add useful room. Best of all the lift is firm and stable when raised—I never worry it will slump while I’m working.
