Door Bottom Sweep 4-Pack — 36" Aluminum with Rubber Seal
Product description
Package contents: four complete door sweeps and a set of self-tapping screws for each piece, ready for immediate installation.
Dimensions and fit: each sweep measures approximately 36 inches in length with a total width near 1-3/4 inches. The aluminum channel itself is about 1-1/4 inches wide. They are intended for doors up to about 36 inches across and will seal gaps at the bottom up to roughly 3/8 inch in height.
Materials and durability: the mounting profile is constructed from aluminum alloy for stiffness and corrosion resistance, while the sealing element is a resilient rubber strip. The rubber is high-elasticity, resists deformation, cleans easily, and is built for long-term use.
Installation and use: these sweeps affix to the door edge or frame using the supplied stainless fasteners. No specialty adhesives are required, though in some situations alternate screws may be needed for metal doors. The aluminum can be cut to length with a hacksaw and the rubber trimmed with nippers for narrower openings. They are suitable for both interior and exterior doors and help keep out moisture, wind, dust and pests.
Applications: designed for a wide range of settings — residential entryways, commercial doors, club or restaurant entrances and more. They work on various door types including wood, sliding and glass doors, frameless units, wardrobes and even shower thresholds where a bottom seal is appropriate.
Pros
- Four pieces plus screws for multiple doors or spares
- Aluminum body with resilient rubber seal resists wear
- Fits common 36" door widths; trims easily to size
Cons
- Screws may not fasten well into metal doors
- Rubber holes not pre-punched, requiring pilot holes
- May require strong force on unlevel doors
VerdictA practical, no-frills set of door sweeps that delivers reliable sealing for typical home and business doors. The aluminum body and flexible rubber gasket hold up well to regular use, and the included screws make installation straightforward on wood doors. You'll need basic tools to trim pieces for narrower openings and different fasteners for some metal frames, but overall these provide an effect

Four in a pack — good value
Same style and quality as other brands I've used. They perform well and getting four is handy.

Does the job
Solid product, though the build isn't heavy-duty. It functions well when mounted correctly.

Thick rubber seal holds up
Previously had a brush-style sweep that wore out; this rubber version is much tougher. The strip is thick and screws hold it firmly. If your door isn't level, the strong rubber can make opening tougher and require extra force.

Stops drafts and pests
Applied to every door in the house. Screws felt a bit lightweight but fit most standard doors. They block air, noise and critters, are simple to mark and trim, and the rubber strip can be replaced if needed.

Helped eliminate a draft on an exterior door
Used these while repairing an exterior door gap. Easy to cut to length and install, and they noticeably reduced the draft. The finish looks neat, the flexible seal contacts the floor without binding, and having extras in the pack was useful. Would buy again for similar repairs.

Installed on wood and metal — a few adjustments needed
Bought two units. Construction feels solid and they were fairly simple to fit. The aluminum screw holes don't extend through the rubber, so I drilled pilot holes first. Screws worked great in wood but I swapped them for sturdier ones on my metal door. I trimmed the aluminum with a hacksaw and the rubber with nippers for a narrower door. Pricier than some options, but they stop bugs and water from coming in.
