Heavy-Duty Cordierite Pizza & Baking Stone — 11.5", Heat to 1,472°F
Product description
What you get: one heavy-duty cordierite pizza and baking stone sized to accommodate most store-bought frozen pies and typical homemade dough. The stone measures 11.5 inches across and is 0.47 inches thick.
Material and performance: Constructed from 100% natural, FDA-safe cordierite, the slab is odor-free and engineered for extreme temperatures—rated to withstand up to 1,472°F. That high tolerance and the stone’s density give it strong thermal mass for consistent heat retention and even distribution, which helps produce a crisp exterior while keeping toppings tender.
Use and care: For best results, place the stone in your oven or grill during preheat so it reaches the same temperature as the cooking chamber before you load a pizza or loaf. It works with indoor electric ovens, outdoor gas and wood-fired grills, barbecues, countertop convection ovens like the Bravo XL, and similar units that can hold an 11.5-inch pie. Most surface soils lift with a damp cloth; for more stubborn residue use a brush. Avoid dish soap. Expect natural darkening over time—cosmetic only and does not affect cooking ability.
Versatility: Beyond pizza, the smooth surface is well suited for baking breads, cookies, pies, muffins, calzones, quesadillas, and for use as a heat-retaining base for grilling small items. The stone is a simple, durable upgrade for anyone seeking better crust and even baking results.

Good fit for my RV oven
Bought for my RV countertop oven to even out heat. Thick enough to do the job and the size is perfect for my needs.

Budget-friendly but not perfect
An okay baking stone. Biscuits stuck more than on my pricier stone, and it needs more effort to clean, though it cost less.

Disappointed — dough sticks
After prepping it as recommended, dough stuck every time. The stone felt lighter than others I’ve used and didn’t perform for my recipes.

Crispier crusts at home
Gave my homemade pizzas a noticeably crisper bottom. I use a premade crust, add toppings, bake on the stone in the upper convection and then transfer to a board to slice—cleaning is easy that way.
