Molithe Heavy 100% Virgin Wool Blanket — 62 x 86 in, Camping & Outdoor
Product description
What you get: one heavy wool blanket sized at 62 x 86 inches and a sturdy PU carrying strap for easy roll-and-go portability.
Materials and fill: the interior is 100% virgin wool with an average fiber diameter around 23 microns, and the fill weight is approximately 600 GSM. Using virgin (not recycled) wool gives the blanket better resilience and longevity and taps a renewable material source.
Edge construction: edges are finished with thicker yarn and a reinforced sub-busbar seam technique to resist fraying and seam wear. Because wool is naturally flame resistant, the construction is well suited to outdoor situations where safety matters.
Comfort and finish: the wool goes through an advanced carding process to produce a less coarse, fluffier hand. The blanket is treated with three high-temperature washes during production to reduce odor and soften the fibers, and the surface is reasonably stain-resistant for long-term use.
Where to use it: roomy enough for two people on a campsite blanket or for sharing at outdoor events. Ideal for camping, hiking, tailgating, stargazing, boating, hunting, trunk storage, and survival kits. The included PU strap makes it simple to carry and store when traveling or heading into the outdoors.
Pros
- Thick 100% virgin wool fill (~600 GSM)
- Reinforced edge seams for durability
- Includes PU strap for easy transport
Cons
- Natural wool texture may feel scratchy to some
- May shed fibers initially
- Not large enough to fully cover a queen mattress
VerdictA solid, purpose-built wool blanket that blends traditional insulation with practical updates. The thick virgin wool fill delivers dependable warmth, reinforced edges boost durability for outdoor use, and the included PU strap makes transport straightforward. It’s not a fragile throw — it’s made to be used in camps, cars, and emergency kits — but some people may find natural wool texture scratchie

High quality but not queen-sized
Lovely and durable, but too narrow to cover a queen bed. Size is smaller than some may expect.

Keeps us cozy
Very warm and comfortable. The 62 x 86 size is roomy enough for two adults. No real complaints.

Sheds a lot
Sheds heavy fibers; everything it touches picks up short hairs, even after washing. Wool quality feels poor to me.

Warm but itchy
Does a great job keeping heat in, but I found the wool quite itchy—less soft than expected.

Poor weave and warmth
Loose weave, not very warm. No lanolin scent or substance—mostly loose fluff.

Perfect for couch nights
My small dog and I use this on cold evenings. Soft, warm, and big enough to tuck in on the couch.

Solid construction
Well made and fairly soft for pure wool. Thick without being bulky and no off-putting odor.

Warm, attractive, not scratchy
Warm and pleasant to the skin; not itchy. Has really helped during a cold snap—I'll buy more for others.
