Extra-Large Traditional Chanukah Menorah — Antique-Style Hanukkah Menorah

Product description

This extra-large traditional Hanukkah menorah is presented as a decorative and functional ritual piece intended for prominent display. The menorah is engineered to accept thick Shabbat candles or standard prefilled oil cups, so neither rubber adapters nor supplemental fittings are required.

Constructed from cast metal with an antique-style finish, the menorah sits on a broad, sturdy base to prevent tipping. The piece measures approximately 20.5 inches high by 16.5 inches wide and 7 inches deep, providing a substantial, ceremonial presence suitable for synagogues, temples, or larger homes.

For storage and transport the hanukkiyah breaks down into two screw-together components: a removable stem and a threaded base. The design emphasizes both traditional aesthetics and practical use during the eight nights of lighting.

Pros

  • Fits thick Shabbat candles or oil cups without adapters
  • Large, stable base ideal for communal settings
  • Breaks down for easier storage and transport

Cons

  • Heavy due to cast-metal construction
  • Antique finish may appear artificial to some
  • Bulky size not ideal for small spaces

VerdictA bold, showpiece menorah built to accommodate either full-size Shabbat candles or oil cups without extra supports. Its large footprint and vintage patina make it well suited for communal settings, though the finish and weight may not suit every taste. Practical and imposing for regular use.

Size impressive but finish disappointed me

The scale is excellent and it screws together in sections, but the cast-metal surface and the heavily brushed silver patina read as artificial up close. It looked like a movie prop rather than a sacred item, so I chose to return it.

    Striking and well made

This menorah arrived looking very handsome and true to the advertised style. The antique patina is attractive, the weight feels solid, and the size is impressive. We've been lighting it nightly and neighbors have admired it. It would have been even more convenient if candles were included.
