Pros
- Authentic Sri Lankan Ceylon bark
- Finely ground, filler-free powder
- Non-GMO and gluten-free
Cons
- Milder flavor than cassia
- Not as sweet for some baking
- May be pricier than generic cinnamons
VerdictA true Ceylon cinnamon powder sourced from Sri Lankan quills and milled into a fine texture. It suits anyone wanting a low-coumarin alternative to cassia for daily use, cooking, or supplements. Expect a mild, delicate cinnamon aroma rather than the intense sweetness of cassia. Great for those prioritizing purity and gentle flavor.

Unconventional use — worked for me
I blended it into a cleaning/spell mixture with castile soap and citrus oil for a porch wash; it produced a strong reaction on anyone I wanted deterred. Odd, but effective for my purposes.

Extremely disappointed
This tasted and smelled like sawdust rather than cinnamon for me. It also triggered a severe allergic reaction—hives—after years of using cinnamon without issue. I couldn’t use it.

Totally worth it
Fantastic product — far superior to supermarket brands. Milder and more nuanced, and safe for daily use thanks to much lower coumarin levels than cassia. Also rich in antioxidants, supports healthy inflammation response, may help blood sugar balance, and shows antimicrobial activity.

Great for supplements, not for baking
If you need cinnamon as a daily supplement, this is a sensible choice because it’s low in coumarin. For baking or sweet recipes, you’ll miss the stronger, sweeter profile of cassia—it’s quite mild here.
