Surprisingly sticky and reliable

I bought these for crafts but first used a purple roll to hold a drop cloth during an outdoor paint job. It gripped instantly and was hard to reposition once it touched the fabric—exactly the kind of stick I wanted. The tape feels substantial and, after getting the first tear started, rips by hand.
