Xexvyrin Wireless PS5 Controller — Dual Vibration, Macro & RGB
Product description
Important update requirement: Before using the controller, install the latest firmware following the manufacturer’s update instructions and view the accompanying tutorial. Skipping the update can cause functional issues with vibration, the built-in speaker and the headphone jack. If you run into problems, contact support for troubleshooting; they typically reply within 24 hours.
Package contents and connection: The box contains the wireless controller and a USB-C data cable for charging and initial pairing. For first-time setup, connect the pad to a PS5 console using the supplied data cable (or an original data-capable USB-C cable), then press the HOME button to register and activate the controller. After the initial pairing you can power the console by pressing HOME. The controller works with PS5 series consoles and Windows PCs; it is not compatible with PS4 systems.
Comfort and build: The controller is constructed with soft-touch materials and an ergonomic, full-size form designed to fit the hands comfortably. Its non-slip surface and balanced weight aim to reduce fatigue and prevent slippage during long sessions. While it offers a solid hand-feel, it is slightly lighter compared with the official console pad.
Audio and sensors: A small speaker is built into the controller to add in-game sound effects, but there is no built-in microphone—use an external headset if you need voice chat. A 3.5mm TRRS headphone jack supports most wired headsets (note: not compatible with certain proprietary headphone types). For motion control, the unit includes a 6-axis system (3D accelerometer plus gyroscope) useful for quick-response and racing-style titles.
Controls and customization: The controller supports dual vibration motors for tactile feedback, a turbo function capable of high-rate firing, and macro programming for up to 16 button assignments. Additional programmable rear paddles make advanced inputs easier without taking fingers off the sticks. RGB lighting is adjustable with a dedicated button and remembers your last color and effect on power-up.
Power and compatibility: Built-in rechargeable battery capacity is 1000mAh, providing competitive runtime for a third-party controller. It connects wirelessly to PS5 consoles and Windows PCs and can be used wired via the USB-C cable for charging or initial pairing. Firmware updates are essential to unlock full functionality and should be applied before extended use.

Not the build quality I expected
Disappointed in durability. I used it twice and put it away. Even my old PS5 pad with some stick drift feels more solid after a year than this felt new.

Feels like a real PS5 pad, mostly
Well made and works on PS5 and PC without issues. RGB is cool, turbo and macros are handy for shooters and auto-run. Only giving four stars because it feels a bit light and slightly cheap, but great as a backup.

Excellent replacement for PS5
I swapped this in for a broken controller and it synced easily. The LEDs are a hit with my kids and the battery holds up well. Charging was straightforward and the overall experience has been great.

Surpassed expectations
I prefer this over my official pad — the lighting modes and button response are excellent. Durable so far; I’ll buy another as a spare.

Solid budget pick
Performs well for the price. All buttons and sticks worked fine. Feels about 70% as solid as the official pad but at half the cost it’s a handy spare. Lighting looks crisp. Wish it had charging dock pins on the underside.

Nice design and reliable battery
Our original died and this replaced it. Good grip and design, shipped quickly. No connection problems and battery life matches the original well. Great value.
