Xbox Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller — White
Product description
The Elite Series 2 Core wireless controller is built for competitive and casual players alike. It features adjustable-tension thumbsticks so you can dial stick resistance to your preference, shorter hair-trigger locks for faster actuation, and a wraparound rubberized grip to improve hold during long matches. The face includes a 3.5mm stereo headset jack and remains compatible with the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter and other Microsoft-made controller accessories.
This Core edition ships with the essentials needed to get started: the Elite Series 2 Core controller in white, a detachable D-pad (1), two standard thumbsticks, a thumbstick-adjustment tool, and a USB-C cable for wired play and charging. The controller uses refined internal components designed for durability and offers a full-size, console-style layout that fits most hand sizes comfortably.
Customization is handled through the Xbox Accessories app, where you can remap buttons, change the Xbox button illumination color, and save up to three player profiles directly to the controller for on-the-fly switching. If you want additional hardware customization, a Complete Component Pack with extra parts is available separately.
Battery life is rated for up to 40 hours per charge under typical conditions. You can connect using Xbox Wireless on compatible consoles, pair via Bluetooth with phones and tablets, or plug in via the included USB-C cable for low-latency wired play on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows devices, and many Android devices.

Comfortable, attractive and customizable
The grips feel improved, the white and silver look great, and the lighting and adjustments are nice touches. Stability and customization options meet my expectations.

Pricey but durable and travel-friendly
It took a little time to adjust coming from cheaper controllers, but pairing with my PCs is rock solid and the included hard case is high quality. It’s expensive up front, but feels like one I won’t need to replace soon.

Missing components in the box
Some of the accessories that should be included were not in my package. Not worth the hassle without the full kit.

Arrived fast but warranty expired on the unit
The package arrived quickly and sealed; everything worked and all accessories were present. The only downside was that the warranty period had already expired when it was sold, which I accepted because the unit was new and flawless.

One of the best controllers I've used
Build quality is excellent, buttons are responsive, and it fits comfortably in hand. Controls feel precise for long sessions — a top pick for serious gamers.

Persistent button failure and frustrating support interactions
My RB stopped working repeatedly and after multiple returns I still had the same issue. I tried to arrange another replacement but communication stalled and I didn’t receive the expected shipping label or follow-up. Support delays have been maddening.

Powerful feature set, but some limitations
Great to remap stick click to paddles and switch devices instantly. However, paddles can only map to existing controller inputs — you can’t assign keyboard keys or combos by default, which is a missed opportunity for PC players.

Premium feel and excellent for FPS games
Looks even better in person and the build quality is top-tier. Great for shooters like Call of Duty and Battlefield. With added paddles it performs like a full Elite 2 at a lower cost. Highly recommend.

Replaced a glitchy pad — quick tip on charging and setup
I upgraded after my old pad started double-pressing. Bought the Elite Series 2 Core and initially charged it through a low-power USB hub — it kept disconnecting. Plugging directly into a PC USB port fixed that. Also install the Xbox Accessories app to map buttons and fine-tune sticks; it makes a big difference.

Third unit finally works — maybe QC improved
After two replacements with button issues, the third Elite 2 I received performs perfectly. I don’t know if it was luck or improved quality control, but this one feels solid out of the box.

Solid upgrade from an older Elite
My original Elite had a grip peel after years of use, so I moved to the Series 2 Core. The new three-stage triggers and adjustable tension sticks feel excellent and the overall ergonomics are very similar but refined.
