Adjustable Ankle Weights Pair (1–5 lb) with Removable Inserts
Product description
Adjustable load and removable inserts: Each weight band contains five individual pouches that measure 0.5 lb apiece, so a single band can be configured from 0.5 lb up to 2.5 lb, and the pair provides 1–5 lb total. The inserts slide in and out so you can add or remove increments quickly to match your workout or therapy plan.
Materials and construction: The outer shell is made from mercerized cotton with a soft, breathable feel. Inside there is a moisture-absorbing lining to help manage sweat during longer sessions. The pouch fill is iron shot, chosen to keep the load compact and to minimize shifting while you move.
Closure and fit: Each band uses a long hook-and-loop (Velcro-style) fastening strap so you can tighten or loosen the wrap for a customized fit on ankles, wrists, or lower legs. The straps are long enough for most users and designed for fast application and removal.
How to use: Wear them for walking, jogging, aerobics, gymnastics, core work, resistance training, and rehabilitation exercises. They’re useful for increasing lower-body strength, adding intensity to cardio, aiding muscle recovery, improving balance and coordination, and targeted physical therapy routines.
Sizing note: One size is intended to fit most ankles thanks to the adjustable fastener; however, the overall bulk will increase with the number of pouches installed, so very small ankles or wrists may find some configurations roomy.
Pros
- Fine-grain weight increments (0.5 lb pouches)
- Breathable mercerized cotton with moisture lining
- Long hook-and-loop straps for customizable fit
Cons
- Can feel bulky on very small ankles or wrists
- Different strap styles across models may affect ease of use
- Removable pouches require careful handling to avoid spills
VerdictThese adjustable ankle weights offer fine-tuned resistance via five removable 0.5 lb pouches per band, letting you progress from 1 to 5 lb per pair. Constructed from mercerized cotton with a moisture-managing lining and long hook-and-loop straps, they sit snugly on most ankles and wrists. Filled with iron shot for stable feel, they’re versatile for rehab, cardio, and strength training. Good build

Solid construction, stay put during workouts
Very impressed with the build. The Velcro is strong and the double strap design holds everything firmly. The removable pouches don’t shift around, so they stay comfortable during exercise.

Very straightforward to use and effective for physical therapy at home. I got the blue pair and they look good.

Best pouch insertion system
The flap that holds each pouch is much easier to use than overlapping designs. You just lift the flap and slide the pouches in or out—no wrestling to seat them fully.

Exactly what I wanted
Good quality and adjustable design — meets my needs for progressive ankle resistance.

Most flexible option I found
Other models lacked small increments or offered bulky single-leg options. This set’s 0.5 lb pouches give me finer control and better distribution—much more versatile for gradual progression.

As advertised
Good quality and strong Velcro. I recommend this product.

Strap differences noted
My 5 lb set has a single Velcro strip but the heavier set uses two. It makes putting them on a bit trickier, but it likely adds durability. Good for light shoulder or leg work.

Too large for my ankles
They feel well made and sturdy, but the fit is too big for me. I only tried them on; my physical therapist recommended them for leg strengthening, so I’ll use them for rehab rather than running.

Very poor — not as pictured
Extremely disappointing. Item arrived different in brand, color and material than shown. Feels like loose pouches wrapped together. Please display accurate product images.

Good quality for heavier option
I bought the larger set for leg lifts and removed one pouch to fit my small ankles. They’re bulky but the Velcro is long and sturdy. Not suitable for tiny wrists, but overall I’m pleased.

Reliable replacement
I wear these often on ankles and forearms. They fit a bit loose but the long straps tighten adequately. I like the removable design and hope these are more durable than my old pair.

Two straps took practice
At first I struggled with the dual-strap setup and found one strap faster. After some practice I learned how to secure them, but I still prefer a single strap for speed.
