COSIMIXO 8" x 35ft Heavy-Duty Anti-Slip Tape — 80 Grit Non-Skid
Product description
This product is a heavy-duty anti-slip roll measuring 8 inches wide by 35 feet long. The grit rating is 80, providing a coarse surface that increases foot traction. The tape is finished in black and designed for both indoor and outdoor applications.
The roll includes an aggressive, waterproof adhesive backing and a removable release liner for peel-and-stick installation. The backing forms a strong bond with a variety of surfaces, including concrete, metal, plastic, wood, tile, stone and laminate. The material is weather-resistant and built to withstand normal foot traffic.
Common uses include stair treads, ladders, ramps, truck and van steps, skateboard decks, boat surfaces, trailers, docks and entryways. The tape can be cut to any length or shape using scissors or a utility knife to fit stair widths, step edges or custom applications.
Installation is straightforward: clean and dry the target surface thoroughly, trim the tape to the desired size, remove the liner, then press the tape firmly in place and smooth out any air pockets. For best adhesion, apply steady pressure across the entire strip and allow time for the adhesive to set.
Note: this tape increases surface friction but does not guarantee absolute slip protection in every condition. Exercise caution in icy, oily, or otherwise extreme environments and re-evaluate adhesive integrity over time.

Very tacky and gritty
Adhered firmly to my steps and has a very rough feel—similar to a coarse sandpaper. Gives great traction. Hoping it keeps me upright this winter!

Solid and straightforward
Very easy to install with strong adhesive and a good coarse texture. No complaints so far.

Added secure grip for an emergency ramp
We had to install a temporary ramp and needed traction fast. This tape made the surface very grippy and stopped any slipping. It felt sturdy, stuck down well, and did exactly what we needed for the project.

Lasted several years
I installed this about four years ago and it held up for roughly three. I later switched to a version with reflective striping, but the durability was impressive.

Big roll, great grip for custom uses
I used pieces on electric wheelchair footrests. It provides excellent non-slip traction and was easy to cut with scissors after tracing the shapes. Very versatile for small custom projects.

Adheres to fresh paint surprisingly well
Stuck firmly to a freshly painted wooden staircase and was easy to apply. Worked exactly as expected.

Looks good, hoping it survives rain
Application was fairly forgiving; you can reposition briefly if needed. It feels more flexible than typical paper-backed grip tape and wraps around edges well. I used it on a homemade ramp for my aging dog. Weather resistance is my only concern—time will tell after wet conditions.

Simple to apply and promising so far
I bought a wider roll knowing I'd trim it down to fit my 11" deep steps. Prep and installation took about an hour total. Cutting it in half was easy, application was straightforward, and the texture feels very coarse. I'll update if it begins to peel, but for now it looks great and fixed my peeling, old strips.

Reliable grip for truck steps
I've had a 6" strip on my truck step for a year and it still grips like new with no peeling or fading. The 80-grit handles wet and dirty conditions well and gives a clean, professional appearance. Cuts easily for a precise fit, but you want to place it carefully because it bonds quickly.

Good adhesion on laminate floors
Installed on laminate to prevent slips. The grip is excellent and it stuck down well after cleaning the surface. I cut the roll into 28" pieces to cover 15 steps; the final strip was slightly short but hardly noticeable. I checked the roll length before use to avoid surprises.

Does the job, watch your total length
Performance is fine, but a single roll may not be long enough for many stairs. I used two rolls for 15 steps and still came up short.

Huge roll for wide coverage
This roll covers a lot of area and is great for ramps. The 12" width is harder to manage alone, but once you get used to it it's fine. The liner can be stubborn at first but usually peels off in one piece. Press it down well and use a sharp blade when cutting—grit will wear down knives quicker than usual. Expect to replace sections over time if exposed to heavy moisture.
