Doorricade Security Bar — Heavy-Duty Door Barricade for 32–36" Doors
Product description
MAXIMUM REINFORCEMENT — Designed to secure inward-opening single doors by transferring impact forces into wall studs, this barricade system is engineered to withstand up to 2,000 lbs of battering-ram resistance. The main shaft is made from solid marine-grade aluminum while the hinge-style mounting brackets are 316 marine-grade stainless steel for long-term corrosion resistance. The bracket design locks the fasteners in place so they are less likely to loosen under heavy impact.
SELECT THE RIGHT LENGTH — For a secure fit, choose a bar that is at least 2 inches wider than the door so the bar overlaps the two mounting brackets properly. For example, a 35 1/4" door would need a 38" bar. This product is intended for single inward-opening doors only; correct measurement and stud anchoring are essential for peak performance.
DURABLE COMPONENTS — The kit includes the aluminum security bar, two stainless-steel hinge brackets with thumb-lock features, reinforced end caps, a high-density foam spacer with adhesive backing to protect door finish and fill gaps, plus both 3" and 1½" screws for different frame depths. All edges are finished for safe handling.
SIMPLE INSTALLATION — Measure evenly on both sides of the jamb (recommend placing the brackets just above the deadbolt or handle), mark locations, pre-drill pilot holes with the supplied drill bit, then attach the brackets using the supplied screws. The bracket mounting face is very thin (about 1/16") to minimize clearance issues; occasionally a shallow recess in the jamb is needed so the door can fully close.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX & WARRANTY — Kit contents: one solid aluminum security bar, two 316 stainless-steel hinge brackets with thumb-locks, 3" and 1½" screws, adhesive foam spacer, drill bit, and a security decal. The product is supported by a lifetime warranty when used as intended. This device is not a substitute for contacting emergency responders when needed.

Worth the time and effort
I had to chisel a bit of the frame for clearance, but after installation it’s quick to set each night and gives me real peace of mind. Definitely worth the investment.

Didn’t fit my trim
Product seems well made and comes with long screws, but my door has deep casing and decorative trim so the brackets couldn’t sit flush. Needed more jamb depth than my entry has.

Peace of mind in a simple package
Well-packaged and intuitive to install; the provided drill bit and hardware made setup fast. The installed unit is stout and the hinge keeps the bar from being lifted out of its notches. Good value for added time to respond in an emergency.

Clean look, strong performance
Replaced an older barricade with this aluminum bar for a garage entry. The 38" bar fit my 32" opening, installation was under 15 minutes, and it slides into place easily with rubber grips. Felt solid and neat against the frame.

Solid, American-made confidence
This is extremely solid and feels premium — heavy-duty aluminum and thick stainless brackets. The kit includes both long and shorter screws. Installation was straightforward and I trust it for serious reinforcement.

Practical reinforcement option
I upgraded my home defense and built a safe room with this. Parts arrived well protected. Removing the door made alignment easier; you may need a helper when re-hanging. Check hinge placement before cutting or drilling.

Manufacturer fixed earlier problems
Components feel heavier and improved: no sharp edges, better screw placement, high-quality stainless fasteners, and rotating keepers that stop prying. I mortised the jamb for clearance, which was a bit of work but doable.
