Product description
This extinguisher is a stored-pressure dry chemical unit supplied with approximately 20 pounds of specially processed monoammonium phosphate powder. The dry agent is fluidized and siliconized to improve flow and reduce caking, ensuring reliable discharge when needed.
Designed for multiple fire hazards, the extinguisher is rated for Class A (ordinary combustibles), Class B (flammable liquids and gases) and Class C (energized electrical equipment) incidents. Mechanically, the powder acts by chemically insulating Class A fuels when the compound softens and melts at around 350°F, by smothering and separating fuel from oxygen for Class B fires, and by being nonconductive to protect the operator near electrical sources.
Construction includes an aluminum valve assembly and an all-metal valve body to withstand regular use and mounting. The unit ships with a wall hanger/wall mount bracket for secure, visible storage. The cylinder is finished in red for quick identification and is labeled in multiple languages; a QR code on the label links to additional usage and safety information.

Responder-grade unit
As a volunteer firefighter and EMT I bought this for duty use. It seems well made and dependable; I haven’t had to deploy it. Arrived on schedule and in good condition.

Caution when ordering online
I ordered two units and one arrived damaged. Quality of the product is fine, but packing/handling was an issue in my order.
