Manual Inflatable Belt Pack Life Jacket — Low-Profile Waist PFD
Product description
USCG APPROVAL & SIZING: This inflatable waist pack is certified for use by persons 16 years and older and weighing more than 80 pounds. The one-size-fits-most belt adjusts to a maximum 52" waist to accommodate a wide range of users.
INFLATION & BUOYANCY: The unit inflates manually by pulling the activation handle to trigger the included 16 gram CO₂ cylinder, delivering roughly 17 pounds of buoyant lift. An integrated oral inflation tube lets the wearer add extra air, increasing flotation up to about 26.5 pounds in total.
CONSTRUCTION & COMPONENTS: The shell is made from a durable, abrasion-resistant fabric over a coated inflatable bladder and sits on a webbing waist belt with a quick-release front buckle. The pack includes a secured inflation handle that clips to the unit to reduce snag risks, a D-ring for attachments, reflective piping for visibility, and a zippered pocket for small essentials.
FEATURES FOR USE: The Relia Pull Guide aids predictable activation and simplifies repacking. When not in use the compact belt stows into a small profile and it comes with a reusable mesh storage/carry bag. The pack weighs under a pound, making it particularly suited to stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing, sailing and other activities where freedom of movement matters.
REARMING & MAINTENANCE: Inflatable PFDs are reusable after servicing. Follow the Owner's Manual for initial arming and the correct rearming procedure after any inflation. A specific rearming kit (Rearming Kit #1370) is recommended for replacement cartridges and components; purchasing an extra kit is advised so you can practice rearming without using the kit you rely on in the field.
HOW IT’S WORN: The belt style is designed to sit around the waist for minimal interference while paddling or casting. Adjust the webbing and secure the front buckle for a snug fit; use the attached D-ring for small accessories or safety items. Regularly inspect the cartridge date, bladder condition and attachments before each season of use.

Kept me afloat when my kayak failed
When my foldable kayak started to sink I pulled the tab and the belt inflated instantly, keeping me buoyant while I was towed to shore. Extremely easy to use and a genuine lifesaver in that situation.

Comfortable for SUP paddling
I wear this on my SUP and barely notice it. It’s comfortable and doesn’t restrict my stroke. The pull handle is tucked away so it’s less likely to snag. It’s pricier than simple vests, but similar in cost to other inflatables.

Great option for sailors who dislike full PFDs
As a solo coastal sailor I prefer this over bulkier PFDs. I stash a whistle and knife in the side, added a water-activated strobe, and it serves as a compact safety kit. Not my choice for offshore, but perfect for nearshore use.

Low-profile and unobtrusive
Fits well and stays out of the way. It’s USCG-rated, but the certification label isn’t visible without removing the pack. The included cartridge was near its date so I swapped it for a fresh one.

Good fit for paddle boarding
A solid inflatable belt that stays out of the way while paddle boarding. Simple and functional.

Ideal for summer SUP races
Lighter than previous waist inflatables and doesn’t concentrate load, so paddling is easier. My only gripe is replacement 16 g CO₂ cartridges are pricey and scarce locally; more affordable options or cross-brand compatibility would help.

Second one bought — great for paddle sports
I bought another because the first worked so well. It’s ultra low-profile and doesn’t hinder paddling or casting. The 16 g cartridge gave solid buoyancy and the oral tube is a handy backup. Repacking and rearming are straightforward with the instructions.

Simple manual inflation, light and practical
This waist pack quickly became part of my water gear. The manual pull inflates reliably and fast, and the fit is adjustable for men or women. It’s light, unobtrusive and easy to wear for long sessions near the water.

Comfortable and compliant when worn
I wanted a PFD I would actually wear in the Florida sun and this fits the bill. It’s light, easy to paddle in, and folding instructions are printed inside the package. The manual oral tube is reassuring as a backup.
