24-Inch Stainless Stern/Anchor Navigation Light — 3NM 360° LED
Product description
This navigation light kit includes a 24-inch stainless steel pole and a matching two-pin base socket for mounting. The pole is constructed from stainless steel with a brushed finish and is intended to be pressed into the provided base for a simple plug-in installation.
The lamp provides 360-degree illumination rated to 3 nautical miles, suitable for vessels up to approximately 65.6 feet in length. The LED assembly runs on a 12–24 VDC supply and consumes 2.5 watts while offering bright, even light around the entire hemisphere.
Electrical and environmental specs include a waterproof rating of IP66 to resist splashes and heavy spray, and the set is protected under a one-year warranty. It’s built for use as a stern or anchor/nav light on pontoons, yachts, bass boats, fishing boats and similar small craft. The package contains the light pole and the 2-pin base; mounting hardware and a dust/water cover for the base are provided to help keep the connection dry.

Add a retaining screw
Lights up nicely in bench tests. I’d add a set screw or other retainer — the insert can pull out if not secured.

Much brighter upgrade
Replaced an old filament lamp and the LED is far brighter. Plugged into my standard port so I didn’t need the base, and the pole feels sturdy. The replaceable LED should extend service life.

Note on base style
Haven’t installed it yet because the plastic rectangular base differs from my Sea Ray’s socket. The post and light look fine and operate, but swapping sockets will take extra time.

Bright and mostly as advertised
Used this on a restored 15' Whaler as a budget alternative to OEM. Base and cover work well and the lamp is very bright. The pole measured 23" rather than 24", and once seated you lose another ~3", so only about 20" above the base — just enough to clear my motor cowl but be aware of actual mounted height.

High-quality finish
Replaced a 20-year-old unit; this slides into the old socket easily. Twist-lock is smooth, mounting screws included, and the LEDs are noticeably brighter. I like the matte aluminum tube.
