Hamilton Beach 2-in-1 Countertop Oven with Long-Slot 2-Slice Toaster
Product description
What’s included: the combined countertop oven and long-slot two-slice toaster unit, a removable baking tray, an oven wire rack, and a pull-out crumb tray for easy cleaning.
Construction and materials: the exterior blends molded plastic accents with stainless steel-facing panels and heat-resistant components. Inside, heating elements and a removable rack create two rack positions for varied cooking heights.
Capacity and dimensions: the oven cavity will hold up to a 9" pizza or roughly 3/4 lb of fries; the integrated long-slot toaster accepts two standard slices or a single long slice of bread.
How it cooks: functions include bake, broil and toast. The toaster portion uses a long slot with a shade selector dial that offers five levels of browning. The countertop oven supports two shelf heights for broiling or baking and includes a 60-minute timer with a ready bell and a Stay On setting for batch cooking.
Safety and convenience: the unit features automatic shutoff and manual cancel, plus removable trays for cleaning. Controls are analog dials and mechanical toggles for straightforward operation without touchscreen programming.

Fits big slices, both functions solid
I love being able to toast a large piece of sourdough. Both the oven and toaster have performed well after a month. Feels durable and was a smart buy.

My countertop essential besides coffee
I’ve used this for almost three years and it’s been dependable. It toasts and bakes well, has solid build quality and a compact footprint. I like the analog controls—simple and reliable. It handles frozen items and homemade fries with no issues. Note: it gets hot, so give it breathing room and consider a heat mat and a wooden tool to remove hot food.

Handy all-in-one tool
Great single appliance for warming pizza or toasting — everyone in the house uses it. Versatile and simple.

Really pleased with it
We’ve always had toaster ovens and this one is great. Toasting works like a regular toaster and the oven bakes well without heating the whole kitchen. Settings are separate so no more burned slices. I use bamboo tongs for short pieces to avoid burns.

Attractive color and compact size
Love the two-tone finish. It takes up less space than my previous unit and looks nice on the counter.

Essential appliance for daily use
We use this every day. It toasts and reheats pizza reliably. Very convenient to have both functions in one unit.

Bigger model with safety timer
I owned the older small version for years and this larger model adds an oven auto-off timer, which saved me from leaving it on once. The ding at the end is helpful. Toasting is consistent, but if you toast immediately after using the oven the bread can overbrown unless you lower the shade setting or eject quickly. Note the red cancel button isn’t very visible while toasting.

Strong points and a few quirks
Overall a worthwhile upgrade. It’s larger than my old model and more versatile. The toaster uses two big side elements rather than full wire coverage, which surprised me by working fairly well, though not exactly like a dedicated toaster. The toaster carrier pops up with a small cancel button; it’s useful but feels different from a traditional toaster action.

Not worth the hype for me
I expected more based on reviews. The toaster knob sometimes needs multiple presses to engage, and the tray feels cheap for the price. Toasting temperature seems inconsistent—what browned perfectly one time may burn the next. The pop-in toaster on top is handy, but overall I’m underwhelmed.

Ingenious and effective idea
I wanted a long-slot toaster that grills evenly on both sides and finally found this model. It performs exactly as expected. The slight darkening on a photo was due to a frozen, warped slice; finish is uniform and stainless steel is easy to clean. Kudos for combining a wide long-slot toaster with a compact oven.

Very practical for small kitchens
I liked the 2-in-1 concept because my kitchen is small. It heats well and fits perfectly. A great purchase!
